Calgary North Veterinary Hospital is equipped with surgical suites designed to allow our surgeons to perform safe, efficient surgery using state of the art instrumentation and anesthesia. In addition to routine surgical procedures, referrals are received in:

• Orthopedic surgery: eg. joint surgery, pinning, plating, spinal surgery
• Soft tissue surgery: eg. abdominal, thoracic, congenital airway disease, nasal, ophthalmic
• Emergency and Trauma surgery: Gastric Dilation, C-sections, spinal trauma
• High risk anesthesia procedures
• Pre-anesthetic screening, specialized monitoring equipment, and thorough pain management are all utilized to reduce anesthetic risk, making surgery on your pet as safe and comfortable as possible.
